NOW WITH FREEDOM
Keep Talking
Brief:
create a type campaign based on the role of typography in the tension between freedom and law and order and consider font technology
Solution:

a type campaign that highlights activism in the tension between universities protecting students and allowing them to express their right to peaceful protest

This tension, over the past year, has led to drastic treatment towards students, making the universities' political stances evident through actions more than words.

This typographic campaign is built using a bespoke typeface created by taking one letter from protest banners at 26 universities across the UK. The typeface is featured in a banner displaying a text-based map of the country that demonstrates where these protests took place.
